How do I setup Web Filtering? I am using Netscape.

The following are instructions for setting up Web Filtering using Netscape. The pictures provided are from Netscape Communicator 4.78, using Windows 98, though the pictures and steps involved are similar for other versions of Netscape, and with other operating systems.

1. Open Netscape if it is not already opened, and select Preferences... under the Edit menu.

2. Under the Advanced Category, make sure Proxies is selected.

3. Make sure Manual proxy configuration is selected, then click the View... button.

4. When the Manual Proxy Configuration window opens, enter "athena.directcon.net" in the HTTP: box, and enter "8531" in the box under the Port column.

5. Click the OK button two times to close the two open windows. You should now be set up for the Sierra Advantage filtering service.
