How do I setup Web Filtering? I am using Internet Explorer.

The following are instructions for setting up Web Filtering using Internet Explorer. The pictures provided are from Internet Explorer 5.5, using Windows 98, though the pictures and steps involved are similar for other versions of Internet Explorer, and with other operating systems.

1. Open Internet Explorer if it is not already opened, and select Internet Options... under the Tools menu.

2. Select the Connections Tab if it is not already selected, then click the Settings... button.

3. Make sure Use a proxy server is checked, then click the Advanced... button.

4. When the Proxy Settings window opens, enter "athena.directcon.net" in the HTTP: box, and enter "8531" in the box under the Port column.

5. Click the OK button three times to close the three open windows. You should now be set up for the Sierra Advantage filtering service.
