WEB PRIVACY SETTINGS -- MICROSOFT INTERNET
EXPLORER 5.X FOR MACINTOSH
1. Start up Internet Explorer. Click
Edit, and then select Preferences.
2. This brings up the Internet Explorer Preferences window, as
shown. On the menu on the left hand side, scroll down until you are able
to select the Proxies option (highlighted in blue below).
3. First, check the Web Proxy: checkbox. In the textbox, enter
athena.directcon.net.

Check the Bypass Web Proxy for FTP and leave the Use Web Proxy for
all unchecked. Click the Settings button, to bring up the Web
Proxy Settings window.
5. Modify your settings to what you see below. For Port, type
in 8531.
Method is "Normal", and leave the Username and Password
fields blank. The "Use proxy for local servers" checkbox
should NOT be checked.
Click
OK to close this window.
6. Click OK to close the Preferences window and end this configuration exercise. You're done!
