Souper Roast Beef

Ingredients:

3-5 lb. Roast
flour
salt
pepper
2 Tbsp. oil
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 envelopes of lipton onion soup mix

Directions:

Sprinkle flour and salt and pepper over roast to coat. Fry in pan with oil just to brown outside of roast. Place roast in a large casserole dish, with a lid, sprinkle with lipton onion soup mix. In a bowl mix cream of mushroom soup with 2 soup cans of water. Pour mixture over roast. Cover with lid. Cook in oven of 350º F. After 1 hour turn down to 300º F and cook until dinner time. Between 1 to 3 more hours, the longer it cooks the tenderer it is. Is great with mashed potatoes.

 Helpful Hints & Tips:

Try substituting Roast for stew meat and serving over egg noodles
