Chicken ~ Rice Casserole

Ingredients:

1 - 1/2 cups uncooked rice
1 pkg onion soup mix
2 - 1/2 cups water
1 or 2 fryer chickens, cut in pieces
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can water

Directions:

Use a large greased baking dish. Place in it 1-1/2 cups rice, uncooked. On rice put 1 pkg onion soup mix and 2-1/2 cups water. Place chicken pieces on rice. Pour 2 cans mushroom soup diluted with 1/2 can water over chicken. Bake 1-1/2 - 2 hours uncovered in 350º F oven

Any 2 cans of creamed soups my be used
